Journey through the Nativity
I am so excited to introduce my latest project, a collaboration with my dear friend Heather Ingersoll, PhD. We’ve created a set of devotions and activities, including the printable paper nativity below, to help your family celebrate Advent!
The devotions in Journey Through the Nativity are no longer available, but the paper craft is! Find yours at http://fanfaron.etsy.com.
Volcano Diorama
Are you interested in volcanoes? Would you like to build one for a school project? This is a great alternative for families who don’t have time for the traditional paper mache version.
Watch how to color, cut, fold, and glue to create a 3D volcano out of 9 sheets of paper. You’ll even learn about the parts of a volcano and the colors of lava!
To purchase and download the template used in the video, visit etsy.com/shop/fanfaron.
Dragon & Mountain Cave
“It simply isn’t an adventure worth telling if there aren’t any dragons.” J. R. R. Tolkien. Make your own dragon and its mountain cave filled with hoards of treasure! http://fanfaron.etsy.com

3D Log Cabin
When I was in elementary school, I loved to dress up in “pioneer” clothing and pretend to be Laura Ingalls Wilder. I imagined that I lived in a little log cabin in the big woods, and cooked meals in a pot over an open fire. (Don’t worry, I didn’t really build a fire!)
For kids who love learning about the pioneer days as I did, here’s a video about how to make a log cabin from paper or cardstock. Find the template in my Etsy shop. Have fun!
